The International Solid Waste Association is pleased to invite you to its Brussels workshop on 5 December 2019.
Location: Science 14, Rue de la Science 14b, 1000 Brussels
Date : 5 December 2019
In order to deliver on the EU Green Deal, we need to unlock the full potential of the circular economy. To achieve this objective, the ISWA European Group is organizing its first Brussels workshop to discuss the Circular Economy 2.0.
What should the new Circular Economy Action Plan look like to deliver on the EU Green deal?
How do we overcome the current challenges with the implementation of the EU waste legislation?
How can the waste management industry contribute to achieving a fully circular economy?
Join us on 5 December for a discussion with industry stakeholder and EU institutional speakers, including representatives of the European Commission and the Member States.
More details including final agenda and speakers will be made available shortly.
ISWA is the world’s leading waste and resource management network, with members in over 70 countries. ISWA’s vision is an Earth where no waste exists. Waste should be reused and reduced to a minimum, then collected, recycled and treated properly. Residual matter should be disposed of in a safely engineered way, ensuring a clean and healthy environment. All people on earth should have the right to enjoy an environment with clean air, water, seas and soils.
